Ireland beat Australia 24 -21 in the Rugby World Cup in Dubai this morning. I felt a mad rush of pride for our boys in green battling the Aussies in the mad heat of Dubai. Go on you good things, however the euphoria of their win didn’t last long. The next match, played early this afternoon was against Portugal and this time the Irish sevens rugby team lost , Ireland 5 to Portugal 17.  Ah well, winning streaks don’t last forever.
